MY LAB PICS

This is my electronics lab and HAM radio station.

The computer (under table) is an Ancient Dell Optiplex 780 running Q4OS Linux.

Sencore Frequency Counter, measures 10 Hz to 1 GHz, a wonderful instrument, accurate to 1 HZ.

Sencore "microranger" Digital Multimeter.

It was designed around an 8035 microprocessor.

These meters were made in the 80s/90s and are better (in my opinion) than similar instruments made today.

They are quite valuable, as they sell for almost as much as they originally cost, about $2K each.

From L to R, homemade resistance load, 0 to 100 Ohms, Quansheng handheld VHF/UHF HAM radio, SWR RF power meter,

ATU-100 Antenna Tuner, homemade Capacitor resistor substitute  boxes, RF field strength meter.

PSG-9080 Signal generator 80 MHz sine, square, triangle and more waveforms.

HY50-06A power supply, 0 to 50 Volts DC, 6 Amps.

The audio system is an ancient Radio Shack Realistic SA-150 stereo amplifier driving a pair of logi speakers.

The computer sound and both HAM radios go thru this amp and the switch to the left.

Micsig digital 100 MHz Oscilloscope showing a sine wave and triangle wave. This baby cost about $1000.

Baofeng BF-F8HP PRO VHF/UHF HAM Radio and soldering station.

More info about this radio on the HAM RADIO page.

This is my AnyTone AT-5555 HF radio.

More info on the HAM RADIO page.

This is the Lenovo Think Centre computer running Ubuntu Studio Linux.

On the left is a Variable AC power supply, 0 to 150 VAC, 2 Amps.

Below is a Sencore LC-53 Capacitor Inductor Analyzer.
